Survival is Project Eden's main world and features a vast amount of unique features, quality of life changes, and a constant supply of new content sure to keep you engaged. If you'd like to view the other worlds, check out our worlds page.

Features
Project Eden strives to provide the vanilla Minecraft experience while still adding "Quality of life" features to make things easier and more entertaining. In the survival world, we have multiple custom features which you can find listed on this page.

Protection (LWC and Homes)
: Main Article: Protection

We offer several types of protections on the server. All inventory blocks like chests and furnaces are automatically locked, and homes can be locked to only allow specific users to use them.

Economy
: Main Article: Economy

The server has a custom economy that can be used to buy items in survival from the market and from other players, use services like Animal Teleportation Pens, and more.

Legacy World
The Legacy World is an old world that was generated in Minecraft Versions 1.9 through 1.12. This world was the original Survival World on the server, but was later renamed "Legacy" when the current Survival world was created in order for players to experience new Minecraft updates on Project Eden. We did not want to get rid of years and years of history and player progress though, which is why Legacy exists.

Resource World
This is a world that is regenerated to a new, random seed at the beginning of every month. Within the resource world, you can decimate biomes, raid generated structures (yes, that includes the end), and otherwise destroy the world to your hearts content, since the damage left in your wake will just disappear the next month. The resource world also has a +50% mob spawn rate, this allows for there to be a challenge but also the option to sleep and skip it. The darkness is dangerous so make sure to take a bed with you every time you enter.

Additionally, within the resource world, there is a separate /market that buys a large variety of mineable blocks for a balanced price decided with survival shops in mind, making it an easy way to make money. You can bring any items from the main survival world to resource, but you can only sell naturally generated blocks.

You can access this world via <code>/warp resource</code> or the survival warps menu.

McMMO
This server uses a plugin called McMMO which implements leveling system for various skills in the game, such as mining and fishing. Leveling up these skills unlocks new abilities, and reaching the max level allows you to get special items.

Daily Rewards
Every day you login and play for at least 15 minutes, you can claim a daily reward. Run <code>/dailyrewards</code> and click on the green number(s) to claim your rewards.
The rewards get more special as you increase your streak. Not logging in for a day (once between midnight to midnight Eastern US time) will reset your streak to 0.

Rewards are currently supported up to day 100, with the rewards looping after each 100th day! You can use <code>/dailyrewards top</code> to see the longest running streaks.

If you're traveling across the world and want to bring your animals with you, then these teleportation pens will become your good friend.

Sleep System
On Project Eden, we have adjusted the amount of players required to sleep through the night. Instead of all players needing to sleep, only 50% of active players within that world need to sleep in order to skip the night.

Survival PVP
By default, PVP is disabled on the server. However, sometimes you want to have a respectful fight with your friends, which is why you can PVP with other players in the survival world using <code>/pvp [on|off]</code>

If you die, you will keep your inventory on death. However, you can toggle this off for higher stakes fights with <code>/pvp keepInventory</code>.

Mail System
The Mail System allows us to deliver items to you while you are offline, have a full inventory, are in another world, and more. Any deliveries from us will be marked as ‘Server’. You can also send deliveries to other players yourself! Using the command <code>/mail send <player></code> to send a message to a player, after entering that command you will be prompted with a message asking you if you would like to send any items as well, to send them you simply need to click on the message in chat and follow from there. To check your deliveries, use the command <code>/mail box</code> which lets you view any mail you may have!

EndFarm
Due to new players getting directed to extremely powerful enderman farms where they can easily max out their armor and tools with little to no effort, Project Eden has designed a system to control access to them. Enderman spawning has been disabled by default in areas where farms are made. You can still make your own enderman farm, but it will not work until you submit a ticket to have staff enable your farm. Afterwards, you can manage who has access to your farm with <code>/endfarm <add|remove> <player></code>, adding up to 5 people.
Wither Arena
: Main article: Wither

In order to fight the Wither, you must go to our Wither Arena using <code>/wither challenge</code>, or you can spawn it in our Resource World. If you spawn it in the Resource World, the Wither will not drop a nether star when it dies. It will, however, make wither roses when it kills mobs, unlike in the Wither Arena.

Voting for Project Eden helps raise our ranking on the server lists. A higher ranking means more players will see us as they browse for a server to join. More players means more potential staff members, donors, and normal players, making Project Eden a better place.

Voting is the quickest and easiest way of showing your support for Project Eden and ensuring it will last. And don't forget about the nice rewards :)
Be sure to check out our website here to view all of our voting links and more!
Vote Rewards
Vote Parties
As more people vote, the count towards a new Vote Party increases. When the Vote Party’s goal is met, every player who voted during the period will receive a reward. These can trigger at any time and have no specified end date. Rewards include things like crate keys, personal boosts, and helpful survival items.

Monthly Top Voting Rewards
For farmable items, like Wither Roses, the wither is able to spawn in the Resource World, but will not drop a nether star when killed.

The Wither Arena is a special arena where players can fight the Wither. You and your friends can fight the wither together, though only the host will receive the rewards. The fight features numerous difficulty options, with the lowest being equivalent to fighting it in vanilla. You can run around, place blocks, use potions, and anything else you could do in a normal fight. As the difficulty increases, you'll find the wither accompanied by some allies, and it may even start playing tricks on your mind. The only way to find out its true power is to fight the boss yourself!

Party System
To start a party, you first need to challenge the wither with <code>/wither challenge</code>. From there, you can invite players to your party using <code>/wither invite <player></code>. Each player in your party has one life. If you die, you’re out. The host of the party will be the one to receive rewards for the fight, even if they died and the rest of the party successfully beats the wither.

Difficulties
* Easy
** Equivalent to a vanilla fight
** Has a 12.5% to drop a nether star
* Medium
** Has a 25% to drop a nether star
** If no star is dropped, gives 1 Wither Crate keys
* Hard
** Has a 50% to drop a nether star
** If no star is dropped, gives 2 Wither Crate keys
* Corrupted
** 75% Chance to drop a nether star
** Always drops 2 Wither Crate keys
** Recommended to bring max gear and golden apples

Commands
* <code>/wither challenge</code> - Creates a party with you as the host. This is the first command you should run.
* <code>/wither invite <player></code> - Invites a player to your party
* <code>/wchat <message></code> - Sends a message to your group

Note: The Wither Crate rewards are currently undergoing a redo and the crate is disabled for the time being. The rewards listed below are the previous rewards.
The resource world allows you to spawn withers for the purpose of collecting Wither Roses. These are flowers that will harm mobs when walked on. Usually, Wither Roses are used in different kinds of farms, but they make for good decoration as well. These special flowers drop any time the wither kills a mob, making them more difficult to obtain than most other flowers. You can learn more about them here.

Cyn: minor edit regarding old vs new pvp

Minigames are small games inside of the game Minecraft. They are uniquely developed in-house with player enjoyment in mind. To join a minigame, head to the /gamelobby and right click one of the minigame signs.

Commands
: Main Article: Commands#Minigames

To manually join a minigame via commands, you can use <code>/mgm join <arena></code>. To quit, use <code>/mgm quit</code>, or right click a quit sign in the minigame's lobby.

Tokens
Tokens are a unique currency found only in the game world and are given as a reward for performing well in minigames. Winning most minigame gives you a 1 in 2 chance of of receiving tokens. Players receive 5-10 tokens at a time (with a max of 30 tokens per day). These tokens can be spent on Minigame Collectibles which are assorted cosmetic items you can wear in the game lobby and in most minigames. These include particle effects, custom hats, arrow trails, and more. There's also a 1 in 50 chance at the end of every minigame that one very lucky player will receive a random collectible!

For nerds, the chance of getting tokens is <code>1 / (2 * (highestScore - yourScore + 1))</code>. Scores are actually calculated using a hidden variable which attempts to track all actions that help your team such as flag-related events (grabbing the flag or killing someone with the flag) in Capture the Flag.

: The daily cap for Minigame Tokens is multiplied by 1.5 on Minigame Nights, resulting in a cap of 45 tokens.
: The daily cap for Minigame Tokens is multiplied by 2 if a boost from the Store is active, resulting in a cap of 60 tokens.
: Finally, if a Store boost is active during Minigame Night, the cap rises to a whopping 90 tokens.

Minigame Night
Minigame night is an event that occurs every Saturday from 4-6 PM eastern time. Players from all different time zones come together to enjoy minigames as a large group. This brings our community together and provides a great experience to enjoy the server's minigames together. It's amazing how close you get to someone that you hack to pieces ;). Overall, it's a fun time, and a great chance for members of the community to interact with each other. At the end of the night, we put NPCs of the MVPs of the night on stands and take a screenshot to commemorate the week.

Gamemodes
The server has many unique gamemodes for all types of gameplay, from combat to spleef to arcade games. The following is a complete list of all gamemodes.

Team Deathmatch
Team Deathmatch (TDM) is a game where two teams face off against each other in a classic fight to the death. The first team to reach the winning score takes the crown. An alternative version of the gamemode exists which pits four teams against each other for larger groups of people.

Capture the Flag
In Capture the Flag, both teams are trying to rush to the other team's base to steal the flag while also keeping defenders on guard to protect their own flag. To grab a flag, you must right click it with an empty hand, then bring it back to your base and capture it the same way. This gamemode involves a lot more planning and strategy than the straightforward killing presented in gamemodes like Team Deathmatch. Tactics vary between arenas.

One-Flag Capture the Flag
One-Flag Capture the Flag is a variation of Capture the Flag which only has one flag in the center of the map. One team must grab that flag and carry it over to the enemies' base to capture it by right clicking the capture sign with an empty hand.

Siege
Siege is a variation of Capture the Flag which simplifies the goals of the teams. One team defends their flag while the other attempts to steal the flag and capture it in their own base.

Infection
In Infection, Survivors must take shelter inside nooks and crannies littered throughout the map to survive the horde of Infected for roughly ten minutes. When a Survivor dies, they join the Infected in the hunt for Survivors. Survivors win by living until the round ends, while Infected win by killing all of the Survivors.

Warning: Make sure to follow our minigame rules on proper sportsmanship. If you become Infected, don't hunt down survivors whose locations you learned as a Survivor unless their locations have been found by another Infected or they are the last Survivors.

Hide and Seek
Hide and Seek is a variant of Infection in which the Survivors have taken upon the appearance of blocks and are hiding amongst many other blocks on the map. The gamemode plays a lot like Prop Hunt, though in this version the Survivors become Hunters upon death.

Murder
In this hidden role game, one of your peers has become a murderer. They've been given a knife and are tasked with killing the villagers. They must act quick, as the villagers can pick up 10 scrap to craft a gun, and one lucky villager even spawns with a gun. If the murderers takes too long, suspicion will quickly rise as the villagers wonder why you haven't crafted a gun yet. So be quick, but stay stealthy.

Juggernaut
One player spawns as Juggernaut whose goal is to kill as many players as they can to get points. Everyone else must attempt to kill the Juggernaut to become the Juggernaut, beginning the cycle anew.

Free for All
As the name implies, Free for All players have one simple goal: kill everyone in sight. The first fighter to reach the required score wins.

Last Man Standing
Last Man Standing is a variant of Free for All in which every player gets only one life. This gamemode requires lots of strategy with determining when to run away from an enemy, who to attack, and more.

1 versus 1
1 versus 1 is a variant of Free for All. Two players enter, one reigns supreme.

Mob Arena
Note: This gamemode is currently disabled.

In Mob Arena, players work as a team to fight off the incoming horde of monsters. Each player may pick their own kit at the start of the game which suit different play styles- melee fighters, archers, magic users, etc.

Quake
Based off the hit game with the same name, players enter a Free for All arena in which they have just one weapon: their Railgun. Right clicking with this powerful weapon will instantly fire a bullet straight forward, killing everyone in its path. Be steady with your shots as the gun takes a moment to reload!

Paintball
Paintball is a Minecraft version of the real life activity of paintball. Players get several stacks of snowballs which they throw at enemies to instantly kill them upon making contact. The first team to get a certain number of points wins.

One in the Quiver
One in the Quiver is a gamemode where every player gets a sword, a bow, and one arrow. The arrow instantly kills every person it hits. When you get a kill, you get another arrow.

Parkour
Parkour is a single-player game where players jump on blocks to get to the end of a course.

X-Run
X-Run is a variant of Parkour in which players are given a very high speed effect, greatly increasing the difficulty in maneuvering the course. It is a popular gamemode to speedrun in which players compete for the fastest time.

Mazes
Mazes are a single-player gamemode in which players attempt to find their way through the maps to reach the end.

Spleef
Spleef, being one of the first Minecraft minigames, is rather simple. Players attempt to dig out blocks from underneath their opponent to dunk them off the stage. The last person alive wins.

Splegg
Splegg is a variation of Spleef where players get a shovel that can fire eggs. Yes, it's weird, just live with hit. The eggs from the shovel break the blocks that they hit, which is how you'll kill people.

TNT Run
TNT Run is a lot like spleef but with the rule set of soccer/football: you can't use your hands! The floor disappears behind you as you walk, so be careful not to fall in any holes!

Dogfighting
In dogfighting, players get elytras which allow them to fly through the air and an automatic gun to kill their enemies. The guns have no reload, meaning you just need to pick a target and fire away.

Pixel Painters
The goal of pixel painters is simple: copy a piece of pixel art block-for-block. You'll be shown an image, given all of its blocks, and tasked with reassembling the image. The fastest players receive extra points. The person with the most points at the end of 5 rounds wins.

Thimble
In Thimble, players are placed on a diving board and tasked with leaping into a pool without hitting one of the solid blocks. The game features three variants:

Thimble: Classic
In this classic rule set, players just get one point for successfully landing in the water. The players with the most points at the end win.

Thimble: Risk
In this spicer version of the game, players get one bonus point for each solid block next to their landing location on top of their usual one point for landing successfully in the water. The player with the most points at the end wins.

Thimble: Last Man Standing
In arguably the hardest variant of Thimble, most of the board is filled with solid blocks. Your goal is simple: survive. Each player only has one life and must last as long as they can.

Connect4
Players alternate turns trying to be the first to get four of their pieces in a row.

Tic-Tac-Toe
Players alternate turns trying to be the first to get three of their pieces in a row.

Death Swap
In Death Swap, players are spawned in random locations on a survival world. For the first five minutes, every player gets as many materials and resources as they can. Beginning at 5 minutes, players will randomly swap locations every 1 to 2 minutes. The goal of the game is to setup a trap to kill another player as they teleport.

Archery
Ready... take aim... fire! Enjoy target practice in this simple game of shooting targets.

Hole in the Wall
A wall is slowly flying at you but is missing quite a few blocks! Place down glass in the same location as the holes to score points.

Battleship
In this childhood classic, you place five ships on your board at the start of the game. From then on, your goal is to find and destroy your opponent's ships by firing into their seas.

Pixel Drop
In this Pictionary-like game, players try to guess what image is being formed as blocks drop down from the sky. Type your answers in chat and try to be the first to identify the artwork.

Tips
Communication is crucial in any form of team-based game modes. To properly communicate with your team, you should join the /discord server. If you're in the discord server's minigame call, a message will pop up when going into teams giving you the option to enter your teams own call.

Capture the Flag
* Always make sure your flag is properly defended by at least one or two teammates.
* If a player carrying the flag falls off the map, it will fall down to the ground and not return for a minute. During this time, the team whose flag has dropped can push hard on their offense since they have no flag to defend. The opposing team should then strengthen their defenses, or send a player or two to hide in the enemy's base until the flag respawns to grab the flag while they're all gone.

Infection
Infection is primarily about hiding and seeking. The Infected are a lot faster and stronger than the Survivors are. Though it is possible to fight the infected, it's recommended that you don't to improve your chances of survival. Hiding provides better results. If necessary, it is recommended that you use your bow which can one-hit kill Infected when fully charged, though comes with limited ammunition. Swords can work too in a pinch though.

Each player starts out with $500 to build their empire. Players can invest in the economy to receive assorted goods, use services like Animal Teleportation Pens, sell their good for profit, and more.

Making Money
The server boasts many ways to make money for various game play styles. Common ways include:

* Selling items in the <code>/market</code>

* Selling items to other people. There are three ways to do this:
** Ask in chat
** Make a post in the #survival channel on our Discord server.
** Make a player shop

* Killing mobs
* Work for other players
* Vote for the server
** Redeem vote points on money
** Become a top monthly voter for bonus rewards including money
* Win events

Mobs
Each time you kill a mob, you get a small amount of money ranging between $0.50 and $2.00. The few exceptions are:
* Guardians have a range of $0.50 and $4.00
* Elder Guardians have a range of $20 and $100
* Ender Dragon has a range of $50 and $150
* Ghasts have a range of $3 and $10
* Squids have a range of $1 and $3

You can buy a temporary money boost in the vote store. Boosts may also be applied server-wide as a reward for reaching our vote goal. Alternatively, you can buy server-wide Boosts on our Store.

Shops
The most active part of Project Eden's economy is the player-to-player trades. Each player may set up their own shop and allow people to view and purchase from it using our <code>/shops</code> system.

Running the command opens up a GUI menu. Here you can: browse the market, browse shops, browse items, search items and view your own shop.

Browse Shops
Clicking this will allow you to limit your interaction to only viewing player shops. This is a helpful feature as you can limit your purchases to a specific player. Each player shop is displayed with the shop owners player head and in game name which is colored by rank, making it easy to identify different player's shops. As well as this, the stock for that store is displayed, followed by an optional shop description under the name. Like the market, clicking on a players head will show the items they have listed available for purchase.

Browse Items
Clicking this will allow you to view every item that is for sale, including the market.

Your shop
After clicking this you will see 6 items (not including the back button) along the top of the GUI menu; preview your shop, set shop description, add item, shop history, collect items and balance.

Preview your shop
Clicking this allows you to view your shop as though you were another player purchasing from it. It's helpful for seeing whether you setup your shop correctly and as you intended.

Set shop description
Clicking this brings up a sign that you can write on to set a description for your shop. Color codes work here!

Add item
Here you add your desired item by placing it onto the black stained glass. You can choose whether you would like to list it for:
* Sell - allowing players to purchase the item from you
* Buy - letting other players sell that desired item to you in exchange for your money
* Trade - allowing players to trade an item in exchange for the one you've listed

You can increase or decrease the amount of the listed item using the glass panes either side.
After you can specify a price by clicking the gold ingot.
* Listing an item for 0.001 or lower will automatically round to 0. Inputting this amount will list your item as being free (meaning a currency exchange is not required to obtain this item.)
* Note: The price cannot be any higher than the maximum number of characters on a single sign line.

When you are done, click the concrete powder to be taken to the next page.
Here you can add or remove stock. The GUI menu for this works similar to chest, however it will only accept items matching the one that you have listed.
You can choose whether you would like the item to be purchasable or not. This feature is mainly for shop organisation, for example: using glass panes to separate items into categories.
As well as this, you can choose whether to enable or disable hiding the item from public view. You can edit your listings so this feature is useful for temporarily hiding an item that is low on stock.

The final option is to delete it, cancelling/removing the current listing. Clicking the back button will update your shop, adding your new item.

Shop history
Shows your transaction history for shops. This includes all of your sales and purchases.

Collect items
This menu allows you to collect items that players have sold to your shop.

Balance
Hovering over this will display your current balance.

What is McMMO?

It adds skills and leveling similar to traditional MMORPGs (think Runescape/Ultima Online/EverQuest). You increase your skills through practice, which in turn leads to rewards. Some of the skills include mining, fishing, archery, and acrobatics.

Getting Started with the Project Eden Changes
Getting started with McMMO is easy. Just start playing survival. As you perform various tasks you will generate skill specific XP that will lead to gaining levels in the skills you use the most. Of course, this is a modified version of McMMO.

Why the changes?

Standard McMMO is very over powered at high levels. Since Project Eden tries to keep a more vanilla survival feel, the decision was made to limit the benefits added by McMMO while increasing the difficulty of achieving those that remain.

What does that mean to me?

First, if you have ever played on an McMMO server before, you will notice that leveling is really slow. The XP gain for many tasks has been reduced, while the requirements to gain levels have been significantly increased. In addition, the level cap has been set to 200 for each skill instead of 1000. Each level you gain takes more work and functions as 10 standard levels. Don't worry though, skill unlocks have been likewise reduced! If standard McMMO unlocked a skill at 50, you only need 5 Project Eden levels to unlock it. Of course this means that skills that unlocked at odd levels like 32 will not become available until you reach the next level past where they would have unlocked. Parties, Party Chat and Party TPs have also been disabled.

Anything else I should be aware of?

With the level cap set to 200, skills that increased your % chance of something based on your level are capped much lower than they would have been, this is intentional. Further, some skill benefits have been further nerfed or removed entirely for being too powerful. Project Eden reserves the right to further modify McMMO at any time, up to and including resetting all McMMO stats as needed to keep Project Eden a balanced SMP.

Does McMMO work in the Minigame World?

Nope. You cannot gain XP or use your skills in any of the minigames to keep everyone on a level playing field.

Commands
This is a list of handy Commands relating to McMMO:
<onlyinclude>*/mcstats - This lets you view all of you main stats
*/mcrank - This shows you each of your skills based on your rank compared to other players on the server
**/mctop <skillname> - Shows the top 10 players for the specified skill
*/<skillname> - Shows the scoreboard for the current skill, along with more detailed information about your current bonuses
**/<skillname> ? [page] - shows help about the current skill
**/<skillname> keep - Locks the scoreboard in place. You can also use /mcsb k after running /<skill>. Clear with /mcsb c[lear]
</onlyinclude>

Skills
There are 13 standard skills and 3 "child skills" broken down into two main categories:

* Combat Skills
** Archery
** Axes
** Swords
** Taming
** Salvage
** Smelting
** Power Level

Read below to find out more about these skills, how they level up, and what they do for you. Many of them also have abilities that you can activate with "right clicking" once every few minutes that will be discussed.

: This is only an overview, more information can be found at The Offical McMMO Wiki, but remember that Project Eden runs a customized version and not everything you find on the official wiki will work on Project Eden.

Combat Skills
All Combat skills level the same way- by dealing damage to mobs with the corresponding weapon. The more damage you deal, the more XP you get, and different mobs have different multipliers- dangerous mobs like Endermen help you level faster. Please note that Mobs that are spawned from a mob spawner do not give you McMMO XP.

Since McMMO does not currently work in the mini-game world, and PVP is off in the main world, no info on PVP abilities are listed here unless they also work on mobs.

Archery
* Axe Mastery - Bonus Damage when using an axe.
* Critical Strike - Chance for 2x damage, increases with level.
* Armor Impact - Bonus damage to Armor's durability, causing it to break down faster
* Greater Impact - 25% bonus damage to Unarmored mobs and knocks them back. The knockback effect will cause an explosion sound/animation to play and the words 'struck with great force' to appear in your chat.

Right click ability: Skull Splitter- Damage dealt during this time will also damage mobs around the main target in an area of effect for 1/2 damage. Leveling up increases how long this effect lasts.

----

Swords
How to level: Use your Sword to deal damage to mobs.

Right click ability: Serrated Strikes- Area of Effect does an extra 25% damage and a 5 second bleed.
* Holy Hound - Wolves are healed by negative potion effects like poison (Unlocks at level 75)
* Call of the Wild - Summons an animal, see the right click ability for more info.

Right click ability: None. However with Call of the Wild, Crouching + Left clicking on the ground with the correct items will summon a wolf, horse, or ocelot to you for a short time. Be aware that the summoning items will be consumed in this process. Summoned animals despawn after a short period, and you can't have a tamed/summoned animal within 1 chunk of you for it to work. Summoned animals can be breed in the same way as normal tamed animals.

* Wolf: Requires 10 bones.
Unarmed
How to level: Use your bare hands to damage mobs.

: Note: Using anything else in your hand will not work, your hand must be empty
Skills:

----

Non-Combat Skills
Acrobatics
How to level: Take at least 1/2 heart of fall damage and survive. The more damage you take, the more XP you gain as long as you survive. Since XP is based on damage taken, anything that negates fall damage prevents XP gain. Falling from the exact same spot over and over again during one log-in will also eventually stop working until you log out. While Ender Pearl damage is called fall damage by Minecraft, it does not count towards Acrobatics XP gain.

Using Feather Falling boots increases the height you have to fall from to receive damage to begin with, but increases the amount of XP gained per half-heart of damage.
Skills:
* Roll- Gives you a chance of automatically performing a roll when you land from a fall/jump and increases with level. Rolls reduce fall damage by 3.5 hearts- but you gain (a reduced amount of) XP for the damage taken plus the damage that was negated by the roll. That means you can fall from a greater height to take the same amount of damage, and you would get slightly more total XP for that same amount of damage (but less total XP than you would get from a non-rolled jump at the same height).
* Graceful Roll- Hold shift while falling for a chance to perform a Graceful Roll, but you must trigger it no more than 20 blocks above impact. This chance will eventually hit 100% at level 50. Graceful Roll negates more damage than a standard roll (7 hearts), and XP gain with Graceful Roll works exactly the same as with Roll.
* Dodge- Gives a small chance to take 1/2 damage from mobs (including creeper explosions). This chance increases as you level.

Right click ability: None.

----

Alchemy
How to level: Brewing Potions.

Skills:
* Catalysis - Increases the speed of potion brewing.
* Concoctions - Adds new potion effects/ingredients. There are 8 levels of Concoctions- you start at level one and unlock a new level every 12.5 levels (so levels 13, 25, 38, 50, etc.). Each level adds new ingredients you can use to brew new potions that aren't in vanilla. Try the Lily Pad from Level 0 on to get a potion of Water Breathing! You can use /alchemy ? [#] to view the full list of new potions and ingredients.

Right click ability: None.

----

Excavation
How to level: Break naturally generated blocks with a shovel- specifically blocks meant to be broken with shovels. You get no XP from player placed blocks. A list of eligible blocks are below:

* Dirt & Dirt Variants (such as Coarse Dirt)
* Gravel
* Sand
* Mycelium
* Clay Blocks (not terracotta)
* Soul Sand/Soil
* Snow

Skills:
*Treasure Hunter - As your level increases, you gain the chance to get random "treasure" from the blocks you break- higher levels unlock better rewards. The full list of what can be found from each block is on the Official McMMO Wiki's Excavation page. Remember to divide the skill requirement by 10 and round up to the next whole level, and ignore both the % Chance and XP reward columns as those are not accurate on Project Eden.

Right click ability: Giga Drill Breaker- Gives your shovel a temporary speed boost and allows instant block breaking. Lasts longer at higher levels, but wears down your tool quickly. Giga Drill breaker can cause the invisible block glitch where you will bounce off blocks that broke on your screen but didn't break server side. You can clear this glitch by teleporting away, logging out and back on, or right clicking the problem blocks to make them reappear. "Torch spamming" is often the suggested method to do this to avoid triggering other McMMO abilities.

----

Fishing
How to level: Catch Fish and other goodies with a fishing pole

Skills:
* Master Angler - Catch fish faster when fishing from a boat or in an Ocean biome.
* Ice Fishing - Catch fish from solid ice. Casting your rod will cause one block of ice to turn back to water.
* Treasure Hunter - Like Excavation, you have a chance of pulling up loot instead of fish.
** Magic Hunter - At higher levels, loot may also come with enchantments.
* Shake - Cast your rod at a mob and steal their loot.
* Fisherman's Diet - Increases the saturation you get from eating fish.

Right click ability: None. However do be aware all that awesome loot comes at a price- you have a chance of pulling up rotten fish (fish with a poison splash potion attached) or lit super-TNT out of the water. If you see the words something doesn't smell quite right... or BOOM TIME that's your cue to dodge.

----

Herbalism
How to level: Harvest crops (including sugar cane, cactus, cocoa, beetroot, and melons); pick flowers, mushrooms, and lily-pads; shear vines; and/or break grasses. However like with excavation, player placed blocks don't work. You have to wait until a player-placed plant has matured before you can get XP. Further, force-grown (ie plants forced to mature through bone-meal) crops yield no XP. Wild crops (such as wild jungle melons) or villager planted crops also work. Cactus and sugar cane will only give you XP for the segments not placed by players- so if you place the first segment and then let it grow to 3 high, you will only see XP for the top 2 segments- you get the same amount of XP for harvesting both at the same time as for harvesting the top and middle segments individually.
* Crops (such as sugar cane, cactus, cocoa,

Skills:
* Green Thumb - Has two different types of effects:
** When harvesting fully grown wheat/carrot/potato/netherwart, it gives you a chance of double drops and, if you have the right item (seeds/carrots/raw potato/nether wart) already in your inventory, a chance of auto-replanting the crop. Higher levels yield a higher chance, and yield a chance of planting crop at a later stage of growth.
**Green Thumb also gives you a chance to convert cobble and stone brick to their mossy counterpart or turn dirt to grass by right clicking them with seeds.
* Farmer's Diet - Like Fisherman's Diet, this increases the saturation you receive when eating "grown" foods like carrots, as well as crafted options (made with your produce) such as mushroom stew, cookies, and bread. At high levels, becoming a vegetarian starts to make sense.
* Hylian Luck (Luck of Hyrule) - Gives you a chance at finding rupees.... wait no. But when you break certain blocks like grass, shrubs and dead plants with a sword, something good might drop.
* Shroom Thumb - Hit dirt with a mushroom for a chance to convert it to mycelium. You must have both red and brown mushrooms in your inventory to do this, and each attempt will consume a mushroom of the type you don't have selected currently.
* Double Drop- As the name implies, you have a chance (that increases with level) to get bonus drops when you harvest/break plants.

Right click ability: Green Terra- This is activated while holding a Hoe. It gives you a chance for 3x drops and makes Green Thumb's block conversion effect succeed 100% of the time as long as you have the seed in your inventory.

----

Mining
How to level: Mine blocks (such as stone and ore variants.)

Skills:
*Double Drop Chance - Has a chance to double any ores that you break (including Ancient Debris.)

Right click ability: Super Breaker- Like Giga Drill, this gives a speed and efficiency boost to your pickaxe for a short period. Your double drop chance becomes a triple drop chance while this is active. However, if your pick breaks while using this (which it might because its durability decreases more than normal) you will take damage, so keep an eye on your tools. And like Giga Drill, you may have to deal with invisible blocks as a result. Just relog, teleport away, or right click to make the blocks reappear. Very useful for mining but beware of unleashing fiery death on yourself.

----

Repair
How to level: Repair tools and armor with an McMMO anvil, which is an iron block placed directly on the ground.

Skills:
* Repair - Right click the item you wish to repair on the anvil with the correct material in your inventory. For example, to repair iron tools and armor, you need iron ingots. Bows and Fishing Rods can be repaired with string. This does not require vanilla XP levels.
* Repair Mastery - Increases how much durability you repair per item, and increases as you level. A high repair mastery decreases the cost of repairs by allowing you to do more with less.
* Super Repair - Gives a small chance of doubling the normal durability repaired, indicated by the chat message that felt easier than normal.
* Diamond Repair - Allows for the repair of diamond tools and armor.
* Arcane Forging - Typically enchantments are lost when using the McMMO anvil, but Arcane Forging allows for the possibility of enchanted goods keeping their current enchantment or downgraded enchantments when repaired. Every 12.5 levels increases your chance to keep enchantments, and reduces the probability that those enchantments will be downgraded.

Right click ability: Repair is a right click skill.

----

Woodcutting
How to level: Break wood logs with an axe. Player-placed blocks do not yield XP.

Skills:
* Leaf Blower - Starting at level 10, leaf blocks will break instantly when hit with an axe.
* Double Drops - Gives you a chance of getting two logs at once.

Right click ability: Tree Feller- With this active, break a block on a tree (or giant mushroom) to cause it and every connected block above it to break at once. This will instantly drop the durability of your axe by the total number of blocks. Be warned- if your axe does not have enough durability to do this, it will shatter, damaging you and only breaking the single block. The length of tree feller and the size of tree it can break will increase with level. At a low level, you may be told that some trees are too big. Regular trees will yield the exact same amount of XP as they normally would, but large trees (2x2) will yield less XP than normal.

----

Child Skills
Child skills are those you cannot level directly. Their level is calculated by taking the level of both parent skills, and finding the average between them, rounded down. For example, if you have 50 levels in one skill, and 9 levels in the other, your child skill's level will be 29, not 30.

Salvage
How to level: Average of your Repair and Fishing Skill Levels.

Skills:
* Salvage - Right click fully repaired items on the salvage anvil (a gold block placed on the ground) to get back a portion of the materials (except for sticks) used to craft the item- at higher levels, you may get all of your ore back.
* Advanced Salvage - Starting at level 62, you can use Salvage on damaged items as well. You will get less material back depending on how badly the item is damaged.
* Arcane Salvage - Like Arcane Repair, this gives you a chance to preserve enchantments on items. In this case you get a small chance at getting books holding the item's current enchantments. These books may be exactly the same as the current enchants or downgraded- the higher your level, the better chance of keeping enchantments.

Right click ability: Salvage is a right click ability.

----

Smelting
How to level: Average of your Repair and Mining Skill Levels.

Skills:
* Fuel Efficiency - When smelting ores in a furnace, the burn time on your fuel will increase, smelting more ore with less fuel consumption.
* Second Smelt - This could be considered the "Double Drop" Skill for Smelting. It gives you a chance (increases with level) to yield double the amount of materials from an ore when it is smelted.
* Vanilla XP Boost - Get extra vanilla experience from smelting.
* Flux Mining - Give you a level-dependent chance that when you mine gold/iron ore that it will smelt itself- yielding ingots instead of ore blocks.

Right click ability: None.

----

Power Level
How to level: Sum of you Primary Stats. Has no use beyond bragging rights for /mctop.

Skills:
* None.

Right click ability: None

----

Presences are, in a sense, statuses. They work pretty much the same as Discord statuses work, but in Minecraft.

Online
This presence is the default for anyone playing on the server. It shows up as a green circle next to your name in the tab list.

Idle
After going AFK on the server (not moving or chatting for 4+ minutes), your Online presence will turn into an Idle presence. You can toggle this on/off by using the command <code>/afk</code>. It shows up as a yellow semicircle next to your name in the tab list.

Do not Disturb
Do not Disturb is the only presence that does not automatically apply to your account- you must manually turn it on and off using <code>/dnd</code>. Do not Disturb is purely a visual thing, meaning to act as a sign for players not to disturb you. If you wish to mute specific sounds, check out <code>/mutemenu</code>. This presence shows up as a red circle with a black <code>-</code> in the middle of it next to your name in the tab list.

Streaming
This presence is reserved for Project Eden's official Content Creators. Any time a registered Content Creator starts streaming on the server, their presence will automatically switch to Streaming. It shows up as a purple circle next to your name in the tab list.

Welcome to the Creative Page! Lets start off with the basic information.

To access creative simply run <code>/warp creative</code> to teleport to the creative world (or use the warps menu). Once there, please take a few minutes to read all of the holograms located in the spawn before getting started. Along with that, it is recommended that you read the information below to have a full understanding and knowledge of the creative world and it's features/limitations.

If you still have any questions after reading this information, just ask staff in-game, we're happy to help!

<!---Chat log: http://paste.bear-nation.net/raw/zenap--->

Number of Plots
By default, Guest and Member players may claim 1 plot, and Trusted and above may claim 2 plots.

Purchasing More
All ranks may purchase up to 4 additional plots, either through the <code>/vps</code> (150 vp each) or the server store ($3 each). There is, however, a cap of 4 extra plots, though you do not have to purchase all 4 from the same place.

VPS
Executing <code>/vps</code> while in the creative world opens up the creative-specific VPS. The creative VPS contains:
* Purchasable plots (150vp)

Redstone and Entity Limitations
Each plot may have up to 50 total entities (entities are things such as armor stands, item frames, and mobs), which includes 10 mobs (e.g. 50 item frames and no mobs or 40 item frames and 10 cows). If you have a justified reason to need a higher limit, simply put in a ticket to request help from a staff member and they will be happy to raise the limit within a reasonable amount.

: Redstone does not work when the plot is unoccupied. Large and/or continuous circuits/contraptions can result in access removal/bans.

WorldEdit and VoxelSniper
We have given everyone access to WorldEdit and VoxelSniper, which are plugins that allow you to change blocks on a massive scale via commands. If you do not have any experience with these plugins, please watch tutorials on youtube for them. If you crash or severely lag the server, your access to these commands will likely be revoked. With great power comes great responsibility. Please don't abuse it.

See the commands page for WorldEdit and VoxelSniper commands and wikis.

Downloading/Pasting
If you wish to save your work, you can request a download of your plot from a staff member with <code>/dlrequest</code>. You can use this schematic on other servers with WorldEdit installed or in singleplayer with Forge and the WorldEdit mod. Later, if you wish to restore your plot, you can use <code>/plot schematic paste url:<key></code>, the key being the string of characters in the URL between the key= and &ip. It will set your plot to the same state it was in when the staff member made the download.

Downloads will only be given for plots that have considerable progress in them.

Ownership
Who owns my build?
We give you the ability to request a download of your plot because your work is your work. However we retain the unlimited right to use (including copying and modifying) anything built on our server for any purpose (including but not limited to minigame maps, warps, and promotional content).

What does that mean?
Simple. You own it. But we can make a copy of it, change it up to fit our needs and use it at any time. If we like your build it could be a new spawn, a future warp or a mini-game map. It might appear in videos or screenshots to promote Project Eden. Whatever we feel like doing with it. We won't pay you for them or anything like that; but, we will give you credit for your builds.

As you know, griefing & raiding is against the rules. However, we still offer protection against the occasional rude griefer using a very well respected plugin - LWC, and one custom plugin, Homes.

* <code>/protection</code> - Provides information for locks (chests, doors, etc) and homes in a GUI
* <code>/allow</code> and <code>/trusts</code> brings up a GUI to edit trusts for protections .

LWC
The other form of protection is LWC. LWC protects single blocks, most commonly blocks with inventories. Here's a full list of what LWC protects:

* Chests & Trapped chests
* Furnaces
* Shulker boxes
* Dispensers
* Droppers
* Brewing Stands
* Signs (Lock manually)
* All types of doors
* All types of fence gates
* Trap door & iron trap door
* Beacons
* Hoppers
* Anvils
* Banners (Lock manually)

This means that no one can steal from your chests, open your doors, use your anvils, etc, without your permission.

Commands
By default, except for signs & banners, LWC protections are private; no one can access them but you. However, there are plenty of easy to use commands to modify your protection in many different ways. You can have a donation chest, a protection protected with a password, a completely public chest, or you can just allow your closest friends. Check out the list of LWC commands.

Homes
This custom-made plugin allows you to control other players' access to your sethomes.

You can either lock your home, and then allow certain players, or leave your home unlocked (default) and block certain players. All of this can be managed through an easy to use GUI with a visual representation of your settings. For example, if a home is locked, it will appear as a red wool, and if its unlocked it will appear as a green wool! Neat!

When a player tries to teleport to your home, they go through a series of checks to make sure they have access to that home, and if they are either blocked from the home or the home is locked, they will not be able to teleport.

The GUI allows you to manage your homes as a whole or individually, and also provides one-click access to tools such as setting a new home, teleporting to a home, deleting a home, or re-setting the home to your current location (both of those require confirmation for safety!). A lot of the features - such as allowing or blocking people to your homes - are chat based, much like the previous additions Notes and Alerts. For example, when you click the "Allow" block, it prompts you for the name of the player. Instead of needing a long command with a bunch of arguments, all you have to do is type out the name of the player as if you were sending it to chat. Just make sure you send the full name of the player, not the partial name.

Another neat feature of the Homes system is it completely UUID compatible. All your settings will be saved if you changed your name, and allowed/blocked players will still be allowed or blocked if they change their name.

When you delete your home, the settings, such as if its locked/unlocked, and who is allowed/blocked will be saved for approximately 24 hours. If you do not re-set the home with the same name, the settings will be deleted.

There's only one command you need for this plugin! Use <code>/homes edit</code> to open the GUI and make your changes.

Commands
Chat commands can be found here.

Alerts
Alerts is a custom plugin that reads chat messages and sends players 'ping' noises if the chat message contains (by default) 1. their full ingame name or (not by default) 2. any words that are in their custom alerts list.

Most people use this plugin for their nicknames. Since by default, it only alerts me (Pugabyte) to my full in-game name 'Pugabyte', I've added pug to my alerts list. This will alert me to 'pug', 'puga', and any other weird variations of my name that you all come up with. You might also use it for topics you want to participate in. For example, I could add hockey to my alerts list.

Just type /alerts in-game to get started. A help menu will appear with all the commands you will need to edit your alerts settings. Add an alert with /alerts add <word or phrase>, eg /alerts add rip in pugs

It is not case sensitive, and all PMs automatically alert you regardless of what the message contains.

KodaBear
You may have noticed the elusive KodaBear answer some questions, telling you some information, or saying hello to some people. KodaBear is our bot - as in, robot. Using a plugin, he picks up on certain events (Usually a certain combination of words in a chat message) and replies with a pre-set message. He is not meant to answer lots of questions, just some basic ones, quickly and accurately.

He is named after Griffin's pet pug. Its ironic though, because the real Koda wouldn't care enough to answer any questions. He'd just want to sleep.
A large portion of our members and all of our staff are pretty active on Discord. We like to use discord to stay connected, as a community, even when we are not on Minecraft. Additionally, constant updates and announcements are made on Discord by staff members. This is the best place to stay up-to-date with the server's changes and events.
Stop paying for TeamSpeak servers and hassling with Skype. Simplify your life.

Events
Project Eden has a multitude of events that occur throughout the year. They are uniquely created to give the best player experience possible. Any time an event is active, there will be a message in chat telling you how to get there.

Easter
Project Eden's Easter event typically lasts for one to two weeks, and, while not as large as some of the other events (such as Bear Fair or Pugmas), everything provided is still of high quality. Whether it be a questline or egg hunts, there's something to enjoy for everyone!

Bear Fair
Bear Fair is the anniversary event of Project Eden, and is easily the largest event that happens on the server. It typically resembles that of a fair or carnival, with tons of different minigames, quests, and rewards.

Pride Month
Our Pride Event lasts for the entirety of Pride Month, and typically revolves around a singular main questline. It also includes a pride parade, where you get to add an NPC of yourself to floats or the surrounding area!

Halloween
From a spooky Halloween adventure map, to candies dropping from hostile mobs that you can exchange for rewards, we love to celebrate Halloween! After all, who doesn't love just a little bit of spooky every now and then?

Pugmas
Pugmas is one of Project Eden's main events, typically taking place throughout the entirety of December. It typically has a custom questline to play through, as well as some mini games, an Advent Calendar, and presents scattered around, waiting to be found!

Mini Events
While the events mentioned above are not going on, we typically like to host some smaller-scale events.

Build Contests
While simple in nature, build contests are a great way to let people tap into their creativity, even though a prompt/theme is given for each contest.

Art Contests
Every now and then, we will have an art contest hosted on our Discord. Most of the time, they are for Halloween or even Pride, and the winner(s) will have their art showcased for everyone to see. Sometimes though, we will showcase everyone's art, so that everyone gets a chance to shine.

Event Store
In all of our events, Event Tokens will be given. These tokens are able to be used in the <code>/event store</code> to buy a plethora of cool and fun things, such as:

* Custom Paintings
* Decoration Heads
* Emoji Hats
* Custom Particle Shapes/Designs
* Customizable Wing Designs
* Chat Emojis
* Custom Note Block Songs
* Store Credit
